The initial idea was brilliant and exciting. The possibility was completely tangible but to make it all happen was going to be an overwhelming feat to say the least. Excitedly, RDG had to produce a one night fundraising event for the AIGA Cincinnati Chapter. Balancing a multitude of layers, a diverse group of players all within a limited budget the event came together beautifully successfully highlighting Cincinnati’s rich design community and growing craft beer movement.
Using the same processes we use with our clients, we were able to effectively, and efficiently produce a beautiful and successful event from start to finish. The branding was inspired from our roots as visual artists while infusing that inspiration with a flavor of beer influence as well. Together we produced and organized a sell out event that brought attention and awareness to Ruttle Design Group, AIGA Cincinnati, and the local craft breweries that participated in the panel and the tasting.
As the lead designer for Christian Moerlein, we were stoked to be invited to participate in the first annual Craftbrewment: the Branding behind the beer. It was definitely a pinnacle moment in my career and a great opportunity to talk with the community about design and our city’s rich beer heritage. Thanks to RDG for organizing and producing such a fun event for the beer and design community.
