The challenge with the Kip Fanta Group was that it was a brand new company, with no name, offering cutting edge services which companies needed to understand easily. In order to approach these unknowns, we first wanted to know more about Kip Fanta, the founder, his career, and the future that he envisioned for himself and his company.
Through our well developed brand strategy process, interviews with Kip and Kip educating us on what and how his services work, we had the tools to start making strategic decisions that would leverage the longevity of his career and the company. Throughout his career Kip had established long lasting relationships built on his work ethic and personality. Since ‘Kip Fanta’ was already well known, unique and had great brand recall equity, it was a natural decision to name the company after him. Secondly, we deconstructed his services and simplified the message. We understood that if we can get people to understand the elevator pitch, then Kip will have more valuable time discussing the details of his clients needs.
