P&G needed a way to educate and sell the up and coming fragrance trends to their brands. The solution needed to show how to determine new scents for products and apply them to package design. RDG worked closely with the FFI global team to investigate and research up and coming fragrance trends.
We crafted a visual identity and communications book to sell their capabilities to global P&G brands, helping visualize future global fragrance trends. With targeting to engage and inspire the consumer brands, RDG created a cohesive visual system through naming, color, photography, fonts, graphics, fabrics – all used to capture the mood and ingredients of each trend.
A new and exciting way to visualize fragrance initiatives to exceed consumers needs evolved from this beautiful, and inspiring book. During this particular year, Herbal Essence and Olay transcended their categories with these targeted fragrance trends and in turn increased consumer awareness as well as driving higher sales.
RDG has been a fantastic partner in bringing to life our Fragrance Trend spaces over the last several years. From Mood Boards to Booklets to Presentation Materials…RDG always delivers beyond expectations. RDG has helped us communicate scent in a visual way that provides immediate understanding among the categories and consumers. For example, when the Fragrance Trends Team was propositioning White Strawberry to Olay, RDG visualized the scent concept for consumer testing which was key to gaining the consumer win needed for internal alignment and taking the concept further into development. Olay White Strawberry Body Wash is a huge hit in market.
