BRANDING FOR A NEW HIGH-END REMODELING COMPANY FULFILLS THE DESIRES OF LUXURY HOMEOWNERS

RDG created the brand identity and collateral pieces for MDM Contracting, a Cincinnati-based residential remodeling company specializing in luxury home renovations. Our team collaborated closely with the client, identifying key insights within their two major target audiences to use as the foundation for our brand work. The first consumer profile desires customization to make their home their own, dreaming of smart, functional spaces with high-end aesthetics that fit the everyday needs of their family. The second consumer profile features those who want to fall in love with their home again as they adapt to their new lifestyle as empty-nesters. They are creating the next chapter of their lives — enjoying the finer things in life, converting old spaces to be used in new ways, hosting family and guests comfortably — and they need to transform their home to achieve this.

The MDM Contracting brandmark consists of a proprietary house icon made from a stylized M with clean lines to represent the high-end residential services. An inner house shape within the mark symbolizes the portion within the home that is undergoing the transformation. The color palette reflects the finishes and colors of many higher-end homes, a modern dark gray paired with a clean white and a muted blue accent color. This hangs together consistently across all support materials including business cards, shirts and vehicle decals. 

MDM’s image as a whole reflects the highly professional team who places a priority on amazing customer service as much as their quality work and craftsmanship.
